NICOS KYRIAKIDES

Nicos is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics (Accounting & Finance) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He trained with Peat Marwick in London and became a partner of the Cyprus firm in 1988. In 1998 he joined the representative firm of Arthur Andersen in Cyprus as the Managing Partner of the Limassol Office. Since December 2002, when the firm merged with Deloitte in Cyprus, Nicos is the Partner in Charge of the Limassol Office of Deloitte.

Nicos has extensive experience in the fields of Audit, local and international Taxation and Financial Advisory. Apart from being an Audit Partner, he is the Head of the Financial Advisory Services of Deloitte Ltd in Cyprus. Nicos has acted as the Audit Engagement Partner for a large number of audit clients including public and listed companies, local and international business companies from various industries such as Hotels, International Banking Units, Insurance Brokers, International Commodity Traders, other Trading Groups, Manufacturing companies, Construction and Property Development companies, Retailers, Travel & Tourism companies, Investment & Finance companies, Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, Holding Companies, Investment Firms, Shipping and Ship-management companies, etc.

Nicos has led a large number of consultancy and financial advisory projects relating to mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations of groups of companies, company valuations, business plans and feasibility studies for new projects, and public offerings and flotations. He has particular expertise in the renewable energy sector.

Nicos has participated in may business forums in Cyprus and abroad as a speaker presenting the advantages of Cyprus corporate structures.
